Senior Pastor—Rev. Steven M. Lora

The Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church is currently led by the pastorship of Rev. Steven Lora.  Pastor Lora first attended Hornbeck UPC during a revival held by Sis. Fannie Massey in February of 1980.  He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on March 18, 1980, and then received the Holy Ghost on April 13 of 1980 during a Sunday evening service.  He was appointed Assistant Pastor in April of 1982.  In September of 1992, he accepted the position of Co-Pastor where he continued to serve under the Senior Pastorship of Rev. Doyle Carpenter until 2003.  Rev. Lora was elected Senior Pastor in October of 2003 and has since continued to serve in this position.  At 59 years of age, Pastor Lora is the 16th Pastor of Hornbeck UPC.  He considers it an honor to serve his congregation and community, and believes that God has great things in store for Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church in the up and coming future
